Proteus Europe is searching for a Functional/Technical Analyst who can combine functional and technical design in an Agile environment with delivery on Mainframe systems for one of clients in Belgium.

Your New role:
Role and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the drawing up and management of the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase
- Performs functional analysis of information systems and draws up the functional design after the pre-study
- Supports changes and enhancements from development through production; recommending and implementing system enhancements (eg system performance, screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing)
- Develops new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs and system upgrades and resolves problems with current systems
- Analyses service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates
- Helps business in realisation of new business cases; coordinate preliminary studies
- Meets with users to determine the end users specific needs and feasibility of pending routine projects
- Responsible for hand-over to the technical designer
- Provides daily support to assigned client base and serves as a liaison between clients and programmers
- Identifies, researches, and analyses production problems, develops solutions, and resolves problems
- Participates in project work, including analysis and requirements definition and testing
- Identifies system enhancements, document business needs and determines development impacts to current system processing and works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy or enhancements
- Consults on development and updating of training materials and user manuals and prepares documentation for assigned products
- Provides daily production support to assigned system(s) to identify production problems and resolves systems problems
- Participates in conversions, mergers, maintenance and development projects, including analysis and testing
- Completes special projects, and performs systems testing and other assigned duties
