Description
Harvey Nash's financial services client in Glasgow require an experienced Risk Assessment Associate to join their team on a contract basis. This is a 12-month contract starting ASAP, joining their team in the City Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global organisation, to work on risk assessment delivery. This will require end to end assessment, from initial scoping to execution, identification of gaps and remediation of issues. You will provide support on risks through the life cycle, working to engage stakeholders and contribute towards other delivery areas such as entitlements management/workshops/
policy planning.
Essential Skills:
. Experience in Risk Assessment within Financial Services, with a strong understanding how assessments are performed
. Knowledge of how risk assessments are performed in a technical environment
. Experience with Financial Services Risk & Control frameworks, ie COBIT, NIST
. Strong skills in data analysis and MS Excel (using pivot tables, advanced formulae etc.)
. Skilled in creating reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
. Strong communication and relationship building skills
. Experience working on multiple work streams at one time
. Experience of management and oversight of technology risks
. Experience auditing within technical environments would be desirable
. Project Management experience would be advantageous
