Communications Manager - Retail Banking - Commercial Banking - Business Change - London or Banbury

A leading Retail Bank is currently looking for a Communications Manager to work a large client focused programme to implement a new online system.

The successful Communications Manager will work as part of the Business Readiness Team which is responsible for ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients and colleagues arising from all Commercial Banking Change Management projects.

This specific role involves working with the wider programme to understand the impact of the change on Client and Colleagues, design and deliver Communication.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):

  • Experience in Change Management within a Financial environment

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

  • An understanding of Commercial Banking

  • Understand and determine the impact of change on clients and colleagues, gaining a detailed understanding of the impacts to drive communications

  • Based on detailed understanding define and recommend the right approaches for the communication needs of Clients and each impacted business area and population

  • Establish key messages to deliver client & colleague journeys, creating strategic communication plans and visions which align and maximise the potential of those journeys

  • Design, create and deliver high impacting and creative client communications engaging with Data Services & Marketing to facilitate

  • Assess and report on communications effectiveness

  • Maintain a breadth of view of client and colleague communications and consolidate messages for maximum effect

As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.

This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
