Key tasks and deliverables
- Provide focal point for all support matters
- Lead role for incident management
- The instigation of PDS services and producing project documentation for resource and finance
- Upkeep of tech docs
Experience Required
- ILS Licence Level 2 (Essential)
- ILS Licence Level 3 (Desirable)
The primary purpose of the post is to determine cost-effective, support engineering, technical work-packages for embodying into the product's contractual support arrangements. This includes the technical management and sustaining of in-service performance levels to agreed customer requirements. The post will deliver Technical Through Life Support (TTLS) to the assigned SDM(s) and their Product's TTLS WBS schedules, which includes providing updates on how they are meeting the schedule timelines to the SDM and TTLS function lead.
This post will primarily work in the Towed Project Team which manages in-service support for the L118 Lt Gun and its ancillaries. There are a number of workpackages that the post will be involved with including a new muzzle brake to reduce impulse noise, the procuring of new breach blocks and management of in-service generators.
