Project Accountant (Forecasting, Benefits Management) required for 4-month contract with renowned higher education client based in Edinburgh
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Accountant to join their team during a major multi-year business change programme. The successful candidate will manage the overall programme plan, working with the Programme Lead and Managers to develop resource forecast models for all projects and programmes. Duties will include monitoring costs, forecasting resources and expenditure, calculating financial benefits and working with multiple suppliers.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a project accountant forecasting resource
- Experience at quantifying benefits in a large, complex organisation
- Strong excel skills and experience of presenting information graphically
- Excellence at building relationships quickly working across programme teams
- Ability to coach colleagues to use new approaches
- The ability to distil complexity into clear/simple, accessible, communication
