*Risk Data Analyst (Regulatory Risk).

We have an exciting opportunity to build out a team of experienced Risk Data Analysts to join a highly reputable financial services client here in Edinburgh to support the delivery of BCBS239 compliance within mandatory timescales. It is ESSENTIAL that the successful candidate comes from a Risk background and has experience of regulatory type project. The successful individuals will join our client's Strategy & Oversight team who is responsible for the delivery and embedding of BCBS239 compliance against the Basel Committee.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of data quality reports
  • Analysis of risk data, making recommendations and improvements to drive data quality improvements.
  • Act as SME for minimising risk to business data
  • Understand and articulate risk and control frameworks

Essential skills:

  • SQL/Teradata/Oracle/Microsoft Office Suite
  • Data mapping, analysis and reporting
  • Understand risk and control frameworks

Desirable skills:

  • BCBS 239 knowledge
  • Good understanding of regulatory risk
  • Database interrogation experience SQL
  • SAS
