Description
SAP Business Facing Change Accountant for a large ECC 6.0 Programme based in the UK on a Contract basis for 6 months initially.
You will need to be a proven, hands on SAP Change Accountant with extensive SAP Project Management/accounting/implementation experience. Multiple FULL Lifecycle SAP experience and ability to work unsupervised.
Required Skills:
* SAP Project Management/accounting/implementation experience
* SAP Reporting and Business Warehouse Reporting experience
* Recognised professional qualification ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
* Ability to ensure deadlines and target are achieved or surpassed
* Proven experience of analysing and interpreting financial information
* Track record of the ability to manage contract performance to budget and forecast, and using excellent written & oral skills, providing sound variance analysis
* Significant experience of commercial issues and corporate awareness in relation to costs, risk, margins and business opportunities.
* Up-to-date working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
* Has appropriate financial and management accounting experience within public or private commercial organisations
* Excellent time management skills, particularly evident in the ability to cope with simultaneous contract accounting and bid requirements.
* Ability to assess business risks, issues and mitigating actions, with experience of implementing such actions
* Use of business warehouse or equivalent reporting tool
* Experience of Long Term accounting and establishing the correct revenue recognition across existing and new business
* Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office 2010 suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
* Experience of IT applications (SAP)
* Multiple FULL SAP end to end project life cycles
* Excellent Communication skills
* Good knowledge of Integration between PP and other modules,
* Blueprint, build, post go live and support experience

* Experience of bid/tender production and processes
