Description
We are looking to engage an individual on a consultancy basis who is an excellent and highly experienced project manager with considerable experience of running and managing major activities and events.
Previous experience working across teams internationally within Central Government and the technology industry would be a bonus.
You will also have significant skills in relationship building and project management. We are looking for someone with excellent written skills.
The individual will:
Help our overseas team and HQ identify challenges and barriers locally in tech Asian High Value Campaign (HVC) markets to UK tech SME exporters (including political and cultural)
Project manage specific activities to help UK SME's access identified projects and opportunities
Build relations with key stakeholders based in UK/Europe (including Asian inward
investors/associations/trade bodies/economic development associations) to increase our knowledge of these markets and to help us build knowledge of potential buyers in these markets - and showcase UK talent in tech
Help identify future markets in the region and help build an evidence base for future HVCs
Focus on relationships at all levels across their allocated markets
Must have experience in Events.
Central to this role will be the ability to look across various markets and identify barriers, cultural and political, and deliver solutions to help industry and the department overcome them.
