My Local Authority client are currently recruiting for a Capital Accountant.
The Capital Accountant must be at least Part Qualified but a full qualification would be desirable. The Accountant will be joining the team performing capital monitoring, so previous capital monitoring is essential.
Description:
- Support the timely and accurate reporting of Service Clients capital and revenue, income and expenditure through budget monitoring, budget setting and producing the authority's final accounts,
- Take shared responsibility for the delivery of the Council's Medium Term Financial Strategy, including project work
- Work collaboratively with Finance senior team ensuring the core financial functions make a valuable contribution to the Council and the community it serves.
