The Risk division has a fundamental responsibility to protect the Bank. With group-wide responsibility for the management and control of credit, market, operational and reputational risks, we have a unique vantage point which allows us a holistic view of our businesses and our clients. Risk at Deutsche Bank is relied upon to help shape the strategy of the organisation and the wider industry agenda. In the role of Information Security Analyst you'll be joining the Regulatory, Risk and Control function which is responsible for the identification, analysis, evaluation and reporting on risk within the Group Information Records Management (GIRM) organisation. You'll work with team members in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany and report into the Functional Manager in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Security and Risk Assessments within GIRM
  • Supporting the development of Security and Identity & Access Concepts for GIRM
  • Supporting operational and architecture teams to develop solutions/processes for GIRM
  • Supporting and consulting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the GIRM for security-related topics
  • Supporting in the delivery of solutions to secure the Bank's data and intellectual property assets across all of our key platforms
  • Driving the further development of existing Information Technology (IT) Security Strategy aligned to the Bank's Cyber Security Strategy and governing security architecture approaches through the Security Architecture Committee
  • Ensuring security remediation and closure of complex problems through Security Problem Management and protecting the Bank's perimeter through governance and controlsSkills &

Qualifications:

  • Good experience in IT Security Operations or (Information) Security Management, ideally in a larger organisation.
  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas. Includes Cryptography, Network Security, Incident Management, Software Security, Vulnerability Management, Remediation and Digital Forensics amongst others)
  • Knowledge in international security standards (eg ISO 2700x, ISO 21827, BSI IT Grundschutz)
  • Educated to Bachelor degree level with a concentration in IT or Computer Science related discipline
  • Certification in CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH or ISSEP (beneficial)
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal)
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Extensive analytical skills, demonstrates flexibility in regards to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and be pro-active in order to create strong trust and confidence with stakeholders
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Efficient, responds well to working under pressure and meets challenging deadlines
