Delivery Manager / Project Manager - Digital - GDS - AgileOUTSIDE IR35 - SC Cleared
A highly experienced Delivery Manager / Project Manager is required to join an agile team in a large government client, working on high profile digital services as they move into a live environment. You'll be working to a high level utilising the Digital by Default service standard.
Essential skills and experience for the Agile Delivery Manager
*Highly skilled in Agile Delivery in line with GDS principles and standards
*Experienced managing interactions within multi-disciplinary Agile digital teams with challenging sprint cycles
*Skilled in assessing, choosing and using the most appropriate tools and techniques for Agile project delivery, recognising GDS design principles
*Skilled in balancing the needs of team members, the team and the client organisation to achieve delivery milestones
*Skilled in presenting information to diverse stakeholders across the client organisation about a multi-disciplinary team's delivery of user-centric Agile projects
*Experience of working in user-centric Agile projects within the public sector.
*Previous government experience is highly beneficial
Nice-to-have skills and experience for the Agile Delivery Manager
*Experience of delivering new web based customer facing applications with a caseworking element
*Experience of running and improving live digital services and bringing user-centric Agile projects back on track
*Experience of delivering within larger programme structures and governance
*Experience of undertaking the Delivery Manager role on projects within the GDS Service Assessment process.
