MI Analyst ( Underwriting )
MI Analyst ( Underwriting ) is needed to work for a leading Lloyds syndicate based in the City of London on an initial 6 months contract.
As the MI Analyst ( Underwriting ) you will be responsible for analysing and managing underwriting performance as well as supporting the wider business to deliver its trading targets. This will include analysis of key performance statistics, and delivery of underwriting actions such as applying new underwriting rules, improving rating or managing fraud prevention tools.
The MI Analyst ( Underwriting ) will have a good understating of Underwriting metrics & numbers and will be able to work on a number of ad-hoc requests.
Key skills required for the successful MI Analyst ( Underwriting ) include:
* Experience of analysis, and an ability to take statistical and qualitative information and turn it into something that adds value to the business
* Commercial awareness of Underwriting
* A confident attitude with an ability to influence stakeholders
* Competent user of Excel / VBA
* Strong mathematical background
* Educated to degree level
