Payroll Support
My client, a global Powerhouse within the engineering industry, is looking for a payroll support candidate to join their team in Hammersmith for an initial 6 month contract.
Qualifications:
This position is responsible for overseeing the Payroll Accounting process to ensure work is completed with the highest quality and accuracy. The scope of work encompasses a single location. This role plans and oversees the daily work of the group; assigns tasks and establishes deadlines; provides training and guidance to others; and may spend a portion of the time performing work.
Requirements:
- Experience with Oracle
- Management capability
Responsibilities:
- First level supervisory position responsible for directing and assisting in the preparation, distribution, and accounting of employee payroll.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of a variety of reports summarising payroll, profit sharing, deductions, withholding and the like.
- Audits payroll summaries
- Provides special payroll and deduction information and assistance as required.
- Maintains internal procedures to ensure that employees receive authorised pay rates and deductions.
- Investigates and resolves questions and discrepancies in pay checks and distribution in accordance with established policies. Coordinates payroll functions with other departments such as Accounting, Data Processing, Human Resources and the like.
