Beacon Hill Technologies has a 9 month contract opportunity for an experienced EDI Analyst/Developer.
Job Details:
The contractor's primary responsibility will be to perform analysis and mapping for the migration of EDI maps and processes from one B2Bi system to the existing B2Bi system.
The consultant may also be required to work with application teams to develop new interfaces or modify existing EDI interfaces within ERP systems.
Consultant is also responsible for testing, documenting work, and also utilizing software to track and reconcile documents exchanged between internal and external partners.
Technical Experience/Skills Required
Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years IT experience.
3+ years B2Bi (Formerly known as SI or GIS) EDI mapping experience dealing with ANSI X12 manufacturing/supply chain transactions (eg 810, 850, 856).
Technical Experience/Skills Preferred
Familiarity with communication protocols for file transfers (eg AS2, FTP, and/or SFTP).
Experience with B2Bi Business Process development.
Non-Technical Skills Required
Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and fix issues in a timely manner.
Participate in meetings and follow up with resulting action items as needed.
Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to learn new tools and technologies.
