Credit Risk Manager
We are currently looking to recruit a credit risk manager to support the Risk team in the development of Credit Risk systems, interpreting complex requirements and design and configure systems to meet those requirements.
Credit Risk Principal accountabilities
- Assist in the development, build and maintenance of Credit Risk systems (covering application, customer management and collections & recoveries decision systems).
- Engage and partner with all stakeholders within the project life cycle; Assist requirements gathering process; Provide input to detailed requirements documentation; Support User Acceptance
- Implement strategy changes in Credit Risk Decisioning Systems, addressing implementation concerns as appropriate. Undertake Testing and produce auditable documentation.
- Develop relationships with outsourced Credit Decisioning Systems partners.
- Assist in the development and production of efficient and effective MI, to monitor delivery of agreed systems performance to enable the business to meet its financial targets.
Credit Risk Skills, knowledge and experience;
- Out and out Credit Risk systems experience.
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- SAS and SQL experience is highly desirable.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent technical skills in the area of Excel and macros.
- Excellent written communication - business and project reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Exceptional communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with anyone in any environment, eg able to translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience's competency level
