Description
A listed global media business is looking for a Senior Finance Manager (FP&A) to support the business through a period of transition.
The Senior Finance Manager will support with budgeting, reporting, business analysis and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
Roles and responsibilities
- Support with budgets and forecasts and communicate results effectively with the business
- Evaluate revenue and expense projections for each plan cycle
- Revenue Accrual: Review proposed accrual based upon trend analysis of royalties earned and reported for the quarter - highlighting large variances and managing analysis for explanations.
- Monitor operating results and oversee weekly revenue summary
- Manage and support with Financial Close deliverables
- Review operating performance and evaluate business risk and opportunities
Personal and Professional competencies:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Experience of working for a multinational FMCG or Media business
- Financial Systems Skills: SAP and Oracle preferred
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines with an eye for detail
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially excel.
- Must be personable, good at building relationships and dealing with a wide set of stakeholders.
