Description
An efficient and inquisitive Financial Accountant with experience in external reporting and managing process improvements is required on a 6 month contract based in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large organisation currently going through a significant period of change and to be an integral part of a high profile finance team.
The Financial Accountant will be covering a variety of areas ranging from legal entity review to managing statutory reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules
- Assisting with year-end reporting deliverables.
- Improving controls framework.
- Dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders up to director level
The Financial Accountant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and a super user of Oracle. You must possess strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
