Overview

The client is supporting a key government procurement for a future Land Electronic Warfare (EW) capability by defining and developing the technical requirements for future Land Electronic Warfare Signals Intelligence (EWSI) systems. The client is doing this by helping them translate User Requirements into System Requirements that are achievable and informed by the latest technology and techniques.

The post holder will lead and deliver key aspects of this procurement support project. The scope of the tasks will vary depending on stakeholder needs; therefore this role requires someone capable of delivering small self-contained studies, but also leading a multidisciplinary team and directing technical work to deliver against high-level requirements.

The primary duty of this role is to deliver studies that support the definition of Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection requirements by defining the technical art-of-the-possible.

The post holder will have a range of knowledge and experience, including some or all of the following:

  • RF systems such as Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Surveillance (ES), Electronic Attack (EA), radar, and communications.
  • Experience of technical leadership, including working with industry and international partners.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of MOD procurement/CADMID, and provision of technical support, including the application of Operational Analysis.
  • Experience of interacting with stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge of some of the following: EW systems, C4ISR systems, MOD information architectures, MOD CIS (Communications & Information Systems), RF systems, signal processing, communications, and radar systems and signals.

The successful candidate will also need to be capable of receiving DV clearance.
