Marketing Executive/Leeds/9 Month Contract/18 to 22 GBP (Per Hour)

The Marketing Executive will work as part of the Business Operations function for the J&J Medical Devices business in GB & Ireland, reporting into the Business Operations Leader. The focus of the role will be to partner with the business functions, mainly the Franchise Manager, Regional/WW Marketing, Product Managers & Professional Education, to develop, coordinate & manage the execution of marketing communication strategies for both internal & external audiences. The role holder will also support commercial & sales functions with the creation of tender and customer materials. The role would suit someone with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time with a strong record of delivery success.

This role will be based in the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Leeds office. The role holder should be flexible around work locations as he/she will be required to work from either office when requested by their line manager.

Key areas of responsibility:

Marketing Communications

  • Implements marketing and communications campaigns strategy by assembling and analysing sales performance against product manager demands.
  • Responsible for preparing marketing and communications content, plans, and objectives in partnership with Product Managers & Professional Education Managers
  • Planning and organizing promotional presentations, tender presentations & updating annual business/marketing calendars.
  • Partners with Jr Graphic Designers to ensure projects are effective and delivered successfully.
  • Responsible for tracking metrics for owned marketing campaigns (digital comms campaigns etc.)
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphic designers; inventorying marketing stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Drive Marketing standardization (brand dependent) in graphics, messaging & video content
  • Ensures messages are delivered on time & to the correct audience via the most appropriate channels
  • Works with other Marketing Coordinators to ensure consistent standards across all Medical Devices business functions
  • Maintain a two-way work stream with the EMEA & WW Franchise teams to ensure project implementation mirrors the region

Commercial Marketing Support

  • Partners with the Sales & Product Manager to create bespoke tender support materials that enable the business to win in line with the overall growth strategy
  • Works with the Sales Managers to understand the needs of an account to prepare PowerPoints presentations that give clear messaging and focus
  • Gathers necessary information on a quarterly basis to communicate essential changes to the organization
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Matrix to successfully deliver objectives to time and budget
  • Ability to maintain business relationships with all levels of the business
  • Strong ability to prioritise and manage complex list of projects to completion
  • Proven track record of successful engagement with all functions in a business
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and individually

Education & Experience Required:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Good understanding of branding & brand hierarchy
  • Understanding of email marketing systems (Mailchimp preferred)
  • Good understanding of Creative workflows
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud
  • Appropriate experience in a marketing communications role
  • Ability to influence & work alongside senior stakeholders
  • A strong contributor to team dynamic in previous roles.
  • Professional individual, with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Essential Languages: High level English fluency
  • Ensure compliance to the Company's product complaint process.
  • Willingness to travel, and attend meetings as required.
