Information Security Officer - Financial ServicesMilton Keynes - £550/day
Are you an Information Security Officer looking for your next role? This may be an excellent opportunity for you. A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Local Information Security Officer to join them in Milton Keynes; you'll be implementing, developing and executing the overall governance of Information Security (IS) management to ensure that Information Security threats are managed and controlled.
*You'll be supporting the preparation for a large audit
*Assessing security IT gaps and come up with solutions and fix them
*Assessing current processes and ensuring they are in line with compliance guidelines
*Arranging Penetration tests
*Managing the IT security day to day operations
Key requirements for the IT / Information Security Manager / Officer:
*You must have financial services industry experience and knowledge of the relevant security / financial regulations.
*You should have previously run a security team, been responsible for writing policies and their management.
*Proven skills and experience in Information Security and Risk Management
*CISM Certification or equivalent
*Technical knowledge with Information Security Standards (ISO 27000, BSI, etc.)
*Deep knowledge and practical experience in Information Systems Security gained from working for in-house IT security and compliance department of a regulated financial services company
*Good understanding of FCA regulation and compliance
