Commercial Intelligence Manager/High Wycombe/12 Month Contract/30 to 37 GBP (Per Hour)

This key role will partner and be the main point of contact for country commercial management for all Business Intelligence, Analytics and Sales Operations related topics and with direct accountability to develop and run strategic analysis, integrate and interpret data from different sources to indicate and point out key business insights in market and across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep insights into the needs of patients, customers and markets
  • Proactively Identify business needs, opportunities for business and profit growth, reduction of inefficiencies and cost of doing business
  • Challenge the status-quo, lead and adapt business models, strategies and plans to external changes and customer needs
  • Propose, align and implement comprehensive analytical solutions (using Excel, CRM platforms, Cognos reporting tools, databases, external data sources and research, etc...) to generate insights and learning's supporting business decision making
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis using diverse analytical tools and integrating various data sources, such as sales, volumes by channel, customer, market shares, stock levels, ad-hoc research learning's and secondary data sources
  • Leverage collected insights to drive meaningful innovations, strategies and new ways of doing business
  • Lead country-level Business/Strategic Plan analytics, business modelling and planning, source of volume modelling
  • Review, verify, update customer segmentation and targeting strategy/plans, sales territory designs. Define, track and monitor SFE KPIs for country sales teams
  • Provide analytical inputs into S&OP processes, supports and coordinate demand planning, liaises with S&OP team
  • Build external relationships and partnerships with outsourced support & data providers (such as ZS Associates, IMS, Cegedim, research suppliers) as well as other functions/organizations within J&J (such as Sales Ops, Global Business Insights, Finance, etc.) Deliver local support to JJDCC CRM platform.*), closely partnering with Sales Operations team/center of excellence, providing timely and effective support to end users particularly training of local users for enhancements and innovations

Key Experiences/Functional Knowledge Requirements:

  • Proven skills in insights generations and strategic analysis, with strong impact on business strategies, plans and results
  • Proven abilities to Integrate and interpret data from different sources to generate deep business insights
  • Strong experience in independent management of external data/analytics providers,
  • Strong internal collaboration skills with Sales Ops, Global BI, etc. to support markets on technical aspects, analytics, research
  • Demonstrated enterprise mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, Matrix environment to achieve business objectives
  • Strong customer and external environment orientation with track record in building effective relationships with customers and other external stakeholders
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial networks and partnerships with key business partners
  • Unquestioned ethics, integrity and Credo-based leadership

Qualification

  • University degree level
  • MBA would be preferable but is not required

Experience:

  • Progressive business experience is required
  • Strong business/sales analytics experience
  • Business modelling
  • International business experience in the health care industry preferred but open to candidates with diverse experiences from other industries/sectors
  • Preferably already working within similar environment
  • Multi-functional/multi country experiences
  • Experience working in a highly-Matrix organization
  • Knowledge of other European languages beneficial
  • Proven ability of thinking strategically and fostering a culture for continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to manage diversity
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time
