A top Tier Client within Investment Banking is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join the in their Business Information, Planning & Analysis team based in Birmingham.
Role Purpose
- This is a high profile role within Europe with influence over reporting and exposure to senior executives
- Primary deliverables include monthly reporting packs and mid-month/WD4 Flash
- Responsible for all MI, KPIs and metrics within UK and Europe
- Close interaction with Global, Regional and Country MI leads as well as business performance and CVM teams
Impact on the Business/Function
- Proactively manages and improves the quality, consistency and efficiency of the financial analysis of business performance MI
- Defines clear instructions and provides appropriate training/support to stakeholders
- Anticipates and identifies existing or emerging risks/issues
Required Skills
- Role relevant qualifications, ie Qualified Accountant
- Past working experience in a relevant role with a particular focus on reporting
- Experience of supporting comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
- Proven experience of being able to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously whilst maintaining an exceptional level of quality.
- An open, flexible and supportive approach to change and innovation
- Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
- Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
- Work closely with Planning & Analysis Manager(s) in a constructive manner to successfully achieve deliverables
