My client is a global investment bank looking for an Operations Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of SSI data and SSI authentication processes, account opening and maintenance and project work. The role will be a mixture of business as usual support, data analysis and tactical/strategic development and will sit in the Middle Office.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensuring all documented processes are followed correctly
*Account opening BAU support for MO and Settlements.
*On-going authentication, set up and maintenance of settlement instructions in a variety of internal applications
*Daily interaction with clients & other depts. via telephone
*SSI & Accounts MIS reporting
*Data analysis
Knowledge/Experience:
*Knowledge of front to back trade flow processing
*Knowledge of Omgeo ALERT and/or other Omgeo products - Oasys/CTM
*Knowledge of SSI (settlement instruction) data; and familiarity with external products and services that add value to client and account data management
*Proven understanding and exposure of talking to clients desirable
Skills Required:
*Strong Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
*Strong focus on Control and Process optimisation
*Proactive and able to work with remote teams
*Flexibility around working hours
*Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to all levels of the organisation
