Description
Database Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Graduate degree or higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years' experience and extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server
- Adequate knowledge of Windows & SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server with VERITAS
- Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services and Analysis Services, additional Sybase knowledge would be advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be an asset
Your tasks:
- Installing, maintaining, operating and supporting the CH MS SQL & Sybase Infrastructure Environment
- Participating in the resolution of system and performance issues
- Collaborating with other team members locally and globally to provide understanding across all components of the database environments
- Conducting Knowledge management, including documentation
- Testing of new Database releases/Infrastructure components
