SAS Analyst - Leeds - 3 months Contract (Initial) - £325 - £350
To support the Campaign Delivery function within Marketing in the definition, implementation, delivery, monitoring and optimisation of the customer journey for Own Branded and Co-Branded accounts throughout the customer life cycle; increasing customer-product engagement
Ownership of defined selection products and client relationships (internal & external)
This role will require knowledge and usage of SAS and analytical techniques to deliver multiple daily selections and analysis, driving strategic improvements and optimisation
Key Accountabilities
Ensure timely delivery of customer selections using SAS and/or Marketing Cloud to fulfil the customer journey from a marketing perspective
Developing and further automating current SAS processes to increase efficiencies and support a zero-error culture
Provide analysis on the performance of the activity driven by the Campaign Delivery Team
Using this analysis to provide future strategic recommendations and direction
Presenting analysis to key stakeholders, including external clients and up to Director level internally
Designing test matrices to optimise learnings vs business performance
Building customer statements to maximise the Marketing opportunity whilst not compromising on contractual or Ts&Cs requirements
Managing key relationships across the internal and external client, commercial and marketing teams
Owning specialist selections
Mentoring other team members in new selections and specialisms
Identifying and escalating any process gaps or potential enterprise/credit risks associated with Campaign Delivery activity
Skills and Experience
DESIRABLE
Analyst with experience or knowledge of analytical roles within the same or similar disciplines
Knowledge of either Marketing or Risk strategy/systems design or development
Ability to manipulate and present data
At least working knowledge of NewDay's preferred analytical tools, namely SAS (Base and Enterprise Guide), SQL (within SAS) in addition to Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint
Experience in setting up or running SAS selections in a zero-error environment
Ability to take on relationship management and own processes from the off with little oversight
Awareness of the role of Marketing in the business
Previous experience in designing or implementing CRM (or similar) journeys and/or platforms
An understanding of Financial Services regulation
Facilitation & presentation skills (internal & external)
Ability and willingness to present to senior staff
Experience in working across multiple platforms and/or SAS environments simultaneously
Marketing execution knowledge spanning both traditional and digital mediums
Knowledge of the UK Credit market, especially in relation to card products
Experience on salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar CRM platform
