Description

A fascinating new project has arisen with LBG for which we are looking for 3 contract resources.

The roles will be based in London and the initial contract will be 6 months in length with a following 9 month extension.

Manager

A high profile secondment role, managing a team of analytical experts to construct a Credit Risk Framework for a new point of sale product pilot.

The team will be responsible for designing, building and implementing all components of the Credit Risk framework, including:

  • A comprehensive acquisition strategy
  • Required MI to ensure management of the pilot within risk appetite
  • Calculation of capital and impairment in line with relevant regulatory standards
  • Development of collections/recoveries capability

The team will also be required to determine the most appropriate way to scale the pilot solution for a full scale launch, liaising extensively with the project team.

The role requires supporting of key business stakeholders, whilst protecting against downside risk and ensuring we treat customers fairly. It will require a broad spectrum of credit risk knowledge and strong commercial acumen.

The role requires pro-active relationship building with colleagues within the product risk teams and across partnering business functions such as Products, Finance and Operations.

Putting Customers First:

  • Lead the production of insightful and timely management information, evaluating, reviewing, investigating, challenging and mitigating the potential for risk
  • Define and build a highly automated Project Indigo acquisition strategy, leading analysts to identify trends and deliver supporting analytics
  • Support project deliverables, whilst ensuring Credit Risk critical success factors are met, by liaising closely with key stakeholders
  • Respond to specific requests from stakeholders, leading bespoke analytical deep dives where required
  • Work collaboratively with other product credit risk teams to gain subject matter expert input

Keeping it Simple:

  • Deliver a clear and comprehensive Credit Risk policy

Translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior management, clearly communicating findings to a broad spectrum of stakeholders of all levels in an adaptable

What we re looking for

Manager 500/day

  • Experience in unsecured Personal loans ideally or Credit Cards
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Capital & Impairment Reporting
  • Collections and recoveries strategy
  • SAS although this role is more about strategy than coding
