We are currently working with a dynamic banking client based in Newcastle on multiple requirements for Risk Consultants. You will be working on building a risk and control framework within data privacy.
We are keen to hear from Risk Consultants who have a background in Data Privacy and retail banking.
6 month initial contract - competitive rate.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in management of risk frameworks and policies within the business
- Help maintain a culture of effective risk management ensuring effective communication and training to the business Ensure effective governance arrangements are maintained across the business
- Perform periodic independent control checks
- Perform risk assurance testing to an agreed assurance plan
- Assist with the delivery of reporting to the management team
Key skills & Experience required:
- Strong experience within risk and the retail banking industry is essential
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and their practical application
- Strong report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
