Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector in the UK. We are currently recruiting Trading synergies Analyst for 3 months initially with possible extension.
Description:
- Support commercial team with delivering buying synergies across Argos and Sainsburys
- Support high level breakdown of where synergies will be delivered within individual teams
- Help define definition of synergies and process for how they will be tracked
- Provide detailed analysis down to product level to support decision making/negotiations
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial and analytical support for commercial team that is owning the commercial synergy program
- Support high level definition of what a synergy is and help define a process for the benefits to be tracked
- Be able to take large disparate data sets and produce output that can be easily summarise with key points/outputs
- To be the communicate across all levels and to non-finance colleagues
Qualification:
- Graduate calibre or equivalent (essential)
- Professional finance qualification (essential)
- Excellent communication skills (essential)
- Ability to influence and impact senior stakeholders (essential)
- Strong excel skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data (essential)
- Prior experience in a large company environment, preferably retail (desired)
