IT Programme Controls Manager - 2 yearsPublic Sector - SC Clearance - PMO/ Portfolio
An IT Programme Controls Manager is required to implement appropriate Delivery Programme Governance in a large government organisation. You'll be bridging the gap between delivery teams and PMO, defining and implementing appropriate structured programme governance, reporting and resources to deliver a multiple million pound complex programme. You'll apply project control measures for progress reporting, scheduling, forecast to complete, variance identification, CPA, EV, resource management and opportunities for improvement.
Please note that SC Clearance will be required- You will need to hold this or undergo the process.
Essential skills and experience for the Programme Controls Manager
*An experienced Senior Programme Controls Manager who can demonstrate expertise in complex programme governance, reporting and control measures across a large and multifaceted programme to ensure programme quality and compliance
*Evidence of creating and managing the toolkit to identify projects for review, support or improvement based on performance information
*Experience of applying a governance and quality assurance framework across the programme enabling confident decision making and consistent high standards of delivery
*Experience of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
*Min 5 years' experience within a public organisation
Nice-to-have skills and experience
*Designed and implemented a resource management capability
*A highly developed understanding of government organisations, and how to operate and communicate at the varying levels of management
*Will have a background in Technology with proven success in a complex portfolio of programmes
