The consultant will be part of client project team which will establish the future IT end use services. The resource will have direct interaction with the project management team but will receive work instructions from the IT Indirect Procurement representative.
Job description
In order to establish the future IT end user services there are a significant number of administrative formalities to be secured.
The most important ones are listed below:
1. Procurement of hardware from the incumbent provider: in 58 countries existing assets will need to be procured under local agreements.
Following tasks are to performed:
Identify the exact assets to be procured in cooperation with the new supplier.
Inform the affected local affiliates.
Agreed on an asset sales agreement for each of the affiliates.
Ensure proper planning of the actual asset sale transactions and secure appropriate payments.
2. Conclusion of Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs)
Where identified needed DTAs need to be established between supplier entities and client entities
3. Adjustment of agreements with existing suppliers to cater for the buy-in in the new established Multi-Vendor Coordination model
Inform all suppliers on the new service model.
Ensure acceptance of suppliers of the model and amend existing agreements.
4. Establishment of the operational invoicing routines.
Ensure an appropriate invoicing model is agreed in each country and secure proper instructions are sent to the local affiliates.
