Description
Our client, a global Financial Services firm, are looking for an Enterprise Risk Officer to join the existing team. You will be based in Glasgow City Centre. Reporting into the management team, you will be part of a team who is responsible for managing and mitigating risk for a number of the large divisions within the business.
You will sit more specifically in a Technology team which is accountable for the identification, assessment, mitigation and/or acceptance of risks and policy compliance across the divisions. The technology teams are varied but include operating systems, databases, storage, web technologies, networks and data centres.
Key duties will include:
* Coordination the timely execution on the risk agenda
* Reporting for risk outcomes (both ad hoc and standard)
* Assist with the monthly collation of data for Divisional Risk Committee, Technology Risk Committee and regional committees as required.
* Participate and contribute in risk officer forums.
* Act as point of contact for risk queries
* Assist in the monitoring Divisional compliance
* Liaise with Assessment, Reporting and Audit teams in delivery of the programmes
To be selected for this role, you must have the following:
* Experienced in Risk
* Experienced working in technology controls programmes - Change, Technology, Assessments
* Excellent MS Office experience
* Experienced in data manipulation
* Stakeholder management experience
The above are the essentials for the role. However the ideal candidate would be someone from a Risk Management background, working in Investment Banking and experience in working in technical/
technology programmes.
The rate for this role is ideally up to £400, but I will consider candidates marginally over this if experience permits.
