We are looking for our client, a financial institution located in Luxembourg, for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

Field of activity
The European central trade repository (REGIS-TR) collects and administers details of derivative transactions reported by its clients to provide market regulators and participants with a reporting hub for all manner of transaction reporting resulting from current and future regulatory initiatives such as EMIR, REMIT, FinfraG, SFTR etc.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Analyse regulatory legal documentation and translate them into business requirement documents with full traceabilty between the specific legal points and hard requirements for development and soft requirements for procedure/process changes - In particular for the new Securities Finance Transaction Reporting legislation, based on the current technical specifications
- Through client consultation and competitive analysis, draft detailed business specifications for a single client interface straddling all regulatory offerings and scalable/adaptable for future requirements. Work closely with the PMO for project management/execution
- Create or revise business plans/business cases and substantiate them with clients and prospects
- Enlarge the product portfolio by developing new ideas for regulatory products and services either on a stand-alone basis or through leveraging proprietary data and assets
- Detailed competitive analysis across European Trade Repository landscape
- Content creation for thought leadership, white papers, E-commerce activities and miscellaneous marketing
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree in economics and/or a comparable education
- Understanding of banking products and the regulatory framework - in particular the European Trade Repository landscape
- 5 years experience in business analysis, regulatory analysis and/or Back Office operations
- Excellent communication skills, customer and service orientation
- Language: English; Knowledge of an additional language would be seen as an additional asset
