Description
Spring Technology's notable client based in Nottingham is looking for a CIPS certified Contracts Engineer to join on a 6 month contract. This role will be paying from £450-£500 per day depending on experience.
Overview
The successful candidate will be taking overall responsibility for the negotiation and on-going management of key commercial contracts as well as maintaining commercial integrity across all contracts within a multi-million pound annual spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of third party relationships by providing commercial support, risk management and the monitoring of on-going performance and contractual KPIs through a formal review process.
- This will include working extensively with senior stakeholders and third parties to identify and maximise the successful delivery of all contracted services in support of our client's metering business and wider UK strategy.
- You will need to ensure that excellent customer service, value for money and safety performance is delivered, while ensuring adherence to procedures and policies. You'll also maintain commercial integrity on all matters and contracts within an annual multi million pound spend.
Requirements -
- A sound knowledge of the electricity and gas markets, including the regulatory environment and have strong commercial and analytical acumen.
- Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be CIPS certified.
Desirable - any legal qualifications would be useful, specifically contract law-related
