Contracts Manager (NHS) - £350-£375 per day - 3 months initially - Luton
Duties
You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of contracts, across health sectors, on behalf this NHS Organisation.
You will be responsible for providing professional expertise to the day to day management and negotiation of contracts within the portfolio.
You will support procurement of scoping work on health services and resilience and translate outcomes into plans.
You will be responsible for supporting the negotiation of contracts in order to meet the requirements as set out by the NHS Organisation.
You will provide advice and prepare strategic reports and briefings for directors and stakeholders.
In depth analysis, interpretation and production of complex and multiple reports including Contract Query Notices and the Integrated Performance Report.
You must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy in the region and appreciate the implications of this on engagement.
Experience
- Experience of NHS contracting.
- Experience of contracting with acute hospitals and non-NHS providers.
- Experience of writing committee/board reports and presenting proposals to a variety of audiences.
- Experience and understanding of the Non-Tariff Payment System.
- Experience of invoice validation and NHS payment systems.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation of data
- Understanding of Integrated Healthcare Systems and experience of joint agency planning would be an advantage
