Description

I am currently recruiting for a Digital Optimisation Manager to join a large banking organisation located in London. The ideal candidate will have experience with web analytics and come from a banking/financial services background.

Role Profile:

This role is responsible for the commercial performance ambitions for Digital Banking and across other channels to drive revenue growth and cost reduction. Delivers the commercial strategy to optimise the value of Relevance Driven Interactions (RDI), striking the balance between near term results and longer term sustainability.

  • Be an expert for BUK on marketing techniques and omni channel execution - influencing the plans of Directors in the partner products and segments and across the wider Digital and Commercial teams.
  • Drives opportunities to increase the effectiveness performance marketing and targeting.
  • Develops product, segment and channel plans including targets and performance goals.
  • Contributes to team and wider thinking on commercial performance, forecasting and planning.
  • Supports delivery of P&L uplift in line with product, channel or segment objectives and integration of activity back into BAU as appropriate.

Constantly pushes the Product and Commercial teams to increase acquisition and growth through all channels, tracking to sales forecasts and providing the data driven view of business opportunities for BUK.

Contributes to pan product, pan channel oversight of targeted commercial delivery and opportunities.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Essential:

  • Data led targeting and marketing
  • Attribution and optimisation of media
  • Omni channel contact strategies
  • Nudge based customer journeys
  • Understanding of customer centric communication techniques
  • Problem solving skills, including the ability to apply creative and innovative thinking, challenge the status quo and drive improvements
  • Commercial perspective - understanding of, the Commercial and Digital Banking strategy and the commercial consequences of contact strategy and optimisation decisions
  • Effective communications, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure plans are both stretching and grounded in sound data principles
  • Experience of delivering omni channel communications as part of a wider team
  • Employs a range of data led communication best practices, disciplines, methodologies and tools
  • Working knowledge of disciplines of targeted communications
  • Knowledge of the application of Brand principles
  • Experience of playing commercial principles within the Financial Services industry
  • Product or proposition communication experience
  • Use of relevant analytics and presentation tools
  • Effective at evaluating economic, market and customer trends affecting the business and its customers

Desirable:

  • Proposition development experience gained in a complex Financial Services environment
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated market with exposure to operational risk management
  • Knowledge of multiple channels, and the engagement approaches required
  • Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent experience
