Our technology teams are responsible for the Bank's entire information technology ("IT") infrastructure, and the development, implementation, and protection of the software required to support all of the Bank's businesses. We move over EUR 1.6 trillion across the Bank's platforms, support thousands of trading desks, and enable millions of banking transactions, share trades and emails every day.

As a Collibra SME you'll be responsible for supporting the project team through a structured delivery approach. You'll provide rich Collibra expertise and guidance, sharing industry experience on best practice. You'll facilitate the definition of the solution architecture and supporting the project manager on planning, risk, issue management and stakeholder communication. The Strategic Data team within the Data Chief Information Office (CIO) will lead the implementation of a number of key data landscape and technology components. While the remit covers a full 'front-to-back' view of data sourcing from the point of capture, the majority of focus is on the data sourcing activities for the control functions (Finance, Risk, Treasury, Anti Financial Crime and compliance).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing analysis and solving problems
  • Leading senior managers towards common goals and build consensus across a diverse group
  • Effective analysing information and identifying gaps or trends and build solutions
  • Providing day to day programme leadership including clarity of delivery priorities
  • Supporting the design and implementation of the Data Governance solution
  • Overseeing, monitoring and driving the adoption and embedding of data governance requirements through change processes
  • Working as part of a team and articulating the architectural vision, in terms of what it means for the business, at board and team level
  • Forming relationships quickly and communicate effectively at Senior, peer and operational levels
  • Operating within a senior management team with an ability to delve into detail
  • Driving change recommendations, and define detailed agenda's to enable the fulfilment of best practice process

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong delivery experience of major data initiatives and have an in-depth knowledge of data governance and management
  • Solid Collibra data governance implementation experience, ideally in the financial services sector
  • Comfortable in brokering complex discussions across technology and business SMEs and pushing towards clear and documented decisions
  • Comfortable at presenting agreed concepts to senior audiences and ensuring that the project definitions are clear, and signed off, with any assumptions or dependencies clearly identified and mitigated
  • The candidate should have a career history which demonstrates a track record of successful delivery balancing a structured approach with pragmatism
  • Prior experience working for a major global Investment Bank (ideally within a CDO function) would be a major advantage
  • Deep understanding of Data Governance and Management and Datamodelling
  • Strong experience in identification and management of risk and issues
  • Good verbal as well as written communication and presentation capabilities
