Government client in central London requires a Senior Commercial Finance contractor to provide financial support to competition/tendering of large scale IT contracts
IR35 Status: Out of Scope
Maximum Pay Rate: £500pd
Location: London
Contract Length: 3 months
Security Clearance Level: Disclosure Scotland
Essential Experience
. Providing commercial finance support to competition and tendering of large scale IT service contracts
. 5 years PQE (Post qualification experience) as a Commercial Finance subject matter expert
. Qualified Chartered Accountant
. Working in a multi-discipline complex procurement programme
Role
Conduct all financial due diligence activities on bids and proposals across the ICT spectrum.
This includes:
. Supply chain profitability
. Supply chain cash flow
. Capex/Opex
. Financial and commercial risk
. Conduct due diligence activity on current supply chain.
. Develop and agree commercial supply-side strategy
Duties
. Analysis of complex supply chain arrangements including prime, sub and collaborative multi supply arrangements.
. Operation of spreadsheet financial models which allow cost benefit/risk to be quantified and managed throughout the term of each deal.
. Producing financial reports to support bid evaluation.
Desirable Experience
. Commercial Finance aspects of procurement under OJEU - Competitive Procedure with Negotiation
. Experience of large Government procurements from both the customer and supplier perspective
