Description:
My banking client is looking for two Control SMEs for initial 3 months contracts based in Cheshire paying £450 a day. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with Control Design and Control Optimisation as well as experience with articulation of Technical Design to ensure the right controls are effective.
The ideal candidates will have a strong Risk & Controls background and skill set including strong experience with:
*Control design within the risk space.
*Control optimisation within the risk space.
*Process design and flow within the risk space.
*Candidates must be able to describe the control and be able to document it from a risk prospective, candidates don`t necessarily have to have tested the control as the project have people in the teams already doing this; its more about looking at the risks with the control owners and saying "is the control effective"? "is it the right control to mitigate the risk"?
*The candidates will be able to pick up the framework and the policy and look at the control and ask the right questions to get the external auditor happy they have gone through all the right questions to identify if the control is fit for purpose.
*Articulation of technical design to ensure right controls are effective and asking the fundamental questions to get to the bottom of whether the "Control" in place is going to pass audit.
This role will be based in the organisation's offices in Cheshire however there is an option to work 2 days from home.
