IT Supplier Manager
Your role is to be the account manager for several suppliers assigned to your portfolio. You execute the tactical follow-up of external providers throughout the full life cycle of a contract.
Contract handling
- Provide sourcing advice on project or service execution in line with the IT sourcing strategy;
- Gather the requirements and expertise of Business/Services and interaction with other domains/contracts in order to negotiate jointly with Procurement;
- Define the contract content;
- Handle contract changes and initiate contract renewal/closure;
- Anticipate, in close collaboration with key stakeholders, the impact of changes on the contract and Services (cost, performance, scope );
- provide guidance and Service expertise in the change evaluation and planning to the relevant colleagues;
- Enrich the contract database with relevant information for allowing efficient contract management.
Contract related Finance
- Initiate and follow-up the ordering process;
- Challenge the volumes value calculated by the supplier and validate consumption volumes of invoices;
- Prepare the annual budget figures for the services purchased.
Service Follow-up (Tactical level)
- Ensure that service levels for sourced services are maintained and continually improved;
- Conduct regular service reviews; manage and control Supplier performance and productivity relative to Service Level Agreements;
- Be in regular contact with the service consumers in order to get a good insight in the satisfaction level regarding the services delivered by service providers;
- Ensure correct bi directional follow-up of action plans resulting from missed KPIs and/or escalations and complaints ;
- Guarantee ongoing compliance with contractual commitments, report identified risks to the appropriate Governance body, manage risk topics (incl. audits).
Required Skillset
- Open-minded, diplomatic and likes to cooperate with external parties and other cultures;
- Communicative and able to listen: you like to be in contact with the entire IT organization, including your own team members and senior management, in order to get a good insight in the satisfaction level regarding the services delivered by service providers;
- Analytical and detail-oriented: you collect the data needed, identify, analyse and understand needs and gather the necessary means;
- Able to handle conflicts;
- Able to work proactively;
- A team player;
- Capable to adapt to different contacts and settings;
- Structured and organised.
- A master degree or equivalent through experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT in a similar position;
- Experience in ITIL, service management and accounting;
- Technical background ideally within Managed Services and IT outsourcing;
- A general knowledge of the banking industry;
- An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset.
