Description

Working within Operations, the role of the Materials, Logistics & REC is to support the Delivery Team across a number of projects and Clients.
All materials & Logistics requirements are to be managed and delivered in a cost effective and timely manner, as well as to meet the standards within the Clients deployments and design guidelines. The Materials, Logistics & REC Coordinator will assist the Delivery Management team with the co-ordination and administration of the network rollout activities of the Business unit.
You will use your excellent organisational skills to support the Project Managers and Operations Department in the management of the equipment hardware and REC for projects. You will also support the Finance Manager in the financial management of the consignment stock alongside the other members of the Project team.

Responsibilities
Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication
Querying company database system to check consignment stock for all the contractors involved in the project
Work with Project management to know the weekly material requirement
Compare local material availability to requirements and plan re-use/re-allocation of resources
Keep stock level controlled and avoid excess of unused material
Work with the stores to ensure stock is updated and liaised with internal coordinators
Do stock audit at contractor's premises when needed
Manage goods receipt/goods issued for materials held by contractors
Work with Project Administrators to ensure the order status on the company database is coherent and solve HW issues that prevent invoicing
Work with the Project Managers and Operations to arrange the re-allocation of the materials from a contractor to another
Update the material consumption
Inventory control of company material
Coordinate with Field Engineers to raise material requisition.
Track and update record of material movement to and from site.
Maintain inventory records of critical spares. Issue critical spares to approved work orders. Reconcile and report variance
Raise, monitor, track, and receipt purchase orders as required by the Project/Delivery Managers.
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
Manage all DNO new connections, Disconnections and New meter installations on behalf of the project teams. Provide reports on progress and proactively chase and manage the quotation process
Ensure works are completed by the power team as expected by our clients and in a timely manner as per set KPIs.
Manage Utilities to complete required works within budget and on time
Attend meetings to ensure smooth program of works potentially with the client
Contact Individual DNO Estimators to progress quotes
Review DNO quotes and analyse costs and report back to client with recommendations
Prepare Client Quotes and power routes
Deal with various landowners to assist in clearing wayleaves or issues
Organise scheduled and ad-hoc sub-contractor team meetings and departmental briefings and produce and issue minutes to meetings.
Liaise with external suppliers, landlords, landlord agents and other external bodies on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
Any other tasks as required to fulfil tasks

Output & Deliverables
Successful team delivery and customer acceptance of sites across Time, Cost, Quality Matrix
Establishment of effective relationships and channels of communication with internal and external suppliers
Raising purchase orders for all work activities provided by external suppliers
Reporting on forecast and actual costs of projects
Strong relationships with internal and external customers
Provide input into Contractor KPI's and performance reviews

Background & Profile
Project and Programme Co-ordination Experience.
proven track record of Materials & Logistics environment.
Technical experience in IT or Telecoms industries would be advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to present at senior level.
Experience working with various Telco vendors
Excellent IT. and database skills. (MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Access)
Soft skills:
Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines in a pressurised, target driven environment, whilst maintaining a customer focused ethos
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build positive relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders
