Safety Engineer - Defence
A Safety Engineer with Defence and Safety Case is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Telford.
This is a 6 month contract with a defence client specialising in Land Systems.
Overview of the Safety Engineer contract role
This is a new role on a large defence project. Duties will include ndertaking of Hazard Identification, Analysis Safety Assessments Also undertaking analysis such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Other duties will include Providing safety advice to other Engineering and other functional departments.
Key skills required for the Safety Engineer
- Experience of Def Stan standards
- Generation of Safety Case reports
- Fault Tree Analysis
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
- Ability to liaise with suppliers in order to obtain supporting Safety data. Responsible and accountable for delivery to achieve contractual requirements.
The role is based in Telford, Shropshire - commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Oswestry
