Senior Commercial Growth Manager
The Commercial Growth team is a diverse group of talented people with a unique combination of analytical, strategic and executional skills.
The team members leverage their skills across a broad range of initiatives in different parts of the business, but always with the aim of driving the growth.
These activities include performance management, business case development, internal consulting, leading strategic initiatives, launching new products or business lines and project or programme management.
Key responsibilities:
- Define, lead and implement cross-functional initiatives in support of strategic goals
- Deliver projects and execute plans in a complex Matrix organisation with many different stakeholders locally and globally
- Experience gained in positions/industries such as Banking, Strategy, Commercial, Growth, Consultancy would be advantageous
- Build, manage and review business cases and quantify the impact of strategic initiatives in terms of financial results and other KPIs (eg customer acquisition)
- Develop insights based on quantitative and qualitative research to outline strategic recommendations
- Act as an internal consultant and change agent, collaborate closely with different teams to achieve results as One Team while also challenging and improving established ways of working in a productive manner
- Make strategic recommendations based on a thorough understanding of the customer, competitive environment and internal organisation & capabilities
Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with project leadership and hands-on execution
- Experienced in business case development, market and opportunity sizing and preparing strategic recommendations for senior executives
- Can bring structure and multi-task across multiple work streams & initiatives and drive them forward without getting lost in details, but able and willing to go deep into the detail to get to the bottom things
- Customer focused, naturally including customer perspective in plans, decisions and actions
- Experienced in building fruitful relationships with people from different functions and backgrounds; comfortable communicating and interacting with senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to work and lead cross-functionally with external and internal teams including Finance, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Risk, Support and Operations
- Good verbal and written communication skills, advanced PowerPoint skills required
- Data-driven. Highly comfortable analysing large & complex data sets.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required, experience with Business Intelligence solutions and/or SQL desirable
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree or Equivalent (MBA a plus)
