Job Title: Finance BI Technical Lead
Job Type: Daily Rate Contract
Duration: 6-Months Initially with option to extend to 12-Months

Location: Dublin City Centre
Immediate requirement with a leading E-commerce client in Dublin City Centre! Top daily rates are on offer for a Senior BI Consultant with experience in Finance. You will be working on a large-scale ERP migration, acting as a bridge between the BI team and Finance department.
What You Will Do:
- Take ownership of the design and implementation of the Finance BI cubes/reports - reporting into our BI Principle Engineer ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Understand the business requirements and translate them into BI Solutions & User Stories
- Consulting/Advising business and BI teams on BI vs Operational report/cubes split based on business requirements.
- Implementation and deployment of best practice SSAS Tabular cubes (solution dependent).
- Implementation and deployment of ETL process for ERP and VMS (Voucher Management system) to our Offline Data Store - Design Patterns.
- Handover and ownership of existing Finance reports while transitioning
- Contribute to building the integration of AX to the overall data echo-system
- Drive the handover of project work into BI Operations with run books and documentation
- Troubleshoot, identify design flaws and suggest solutions
Requirements:
- 3rd level qualification in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years development experience in Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- Strong performance tuning SQL Server
- Advanced T-SQL skills
- A strong background in Finance and Business Analysis
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience working with Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, JIRA)
- A good understanding of the AX/Dynamics suites would be a distinct advantage but not necessity
