Markit EDM Specialist - MEDM - Scotland
My client, a Financial Services organisation in Edinburgh, is looking for a MEDM Specialist with strong Data Management experience who will be responsible for providing data and information provisioning solutions which support strategic business goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Identify opportunities to create business value from optimal use of new or existing technologies.
- Use industry awareness, industry contacts and the insight of peers and colleagues to influence technology direction.
- Create and nurture long-term relationships (both consumers and stakeholders).
- Provide support and guidance to other team members within Investments Technology.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of
- 3 years minimum current development experience of the MEDM platform
- Markit Developer Certification to Advanced level
- Experience of enterprise data management programmes
- Experience of multiple asset classes across the Investment Management domain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle both variety and priority.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies.
Rate: Dependent on experience
Start: ASAP - 4 weeks notice
Location: Edinburgh
