Switchboard Supervisor: ISDX, BTS, Multitone, Switchboard Operation, Rota, 24/7, 24*7My NHS client based in Central London is seeking a dynamic Switchboard Supervisor to manage Switchboard Related Services and the associated team to ensure the smooth running and effective management of the switchboard via provision of high quality telephony and some face to face services.
The successful Switchboard Supervisor will have previous experience of managing staff rota's, training and supporting staff, 1-1s and heading team meetings of the 24*7 Switchboard Team.
Other duties will include
. Review, update, creation and training of Standard Operating Procedures covering all areas of the Switchboard Operation
. Responsibility for overall management of the Switchboard
. Management of bleep/paging services including relationship with 3rd party provider
. Introduction of Switchboard KPIs
. Provision of regular Switchboard KPI reporting including further recommendations for future Service Improvements
. Escalation point for challenging Calls/Walk Ins
. To receive and action lift alarms including conversing with distressed callers trapped in the lift
. Reporting of urgent alarms and faults on main switch to on site engineers or Service provider out of hours
. Contact point for Major Incidents to ensure team are kept up to date and advised of requirements
. To be familiar with all duty lists of on-call staff, and other hospitals as central control
Ideally you will have previous experience of
. ISDX telephone systems
. Used BTS software
. Miltitone bleep system
. Supervisor experience
. Worked on a 24/7 shift.
Again, the successful Switchboard Supervisor will have previous experience of managing staff rota's, training and supporting staff, 1-1s and heading team meetings of the 24*7 Switchboard Team.
This is a 3-6 month contract based in Central London and is paying a rate of GBP 115-GBP 125/day.
