Description
A prestigious Retailer is looking for a talented Financial Accountant to support the team with the monthly financial processes and a transformation project.
The role offers the opportunity to take a leading role in projects to improve financial processes and assist with strategic planning.
Roles and responsibilities
- Supporting SAP system implementation
- Produce reports in SAP to enable delivery of financial analysis and management accounts
- Delivery of Group consolidation of monthly management reporting, including P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow reporting.
- Assistance with preparation of UK legal entity accounts.
- Participation in group planning (budgets, quarterly reforecasts, strategic planning)
Personal and Professional Competencies:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- SAP experience necessary and SAP report writing experience desired
- Experience in food & beverage/retail/any inventory holding business is desirable
- An ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and work with them to help provide valuable commercial support and business insight
- The ability to work independently and proactively.
