Description
Our client, a financial organisation, are currently looking for a UK Pensions/Benefits specialist to work closely within their Pensions & Benefits team. You will have a relevant professional qualification (FIA/APMI) and have knowledge and experience in all aspects of pensions and benefits. You will lead the closure and the transition of pension and benefits to a new flexible approach in line with the Bank's strategy.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
1. To work with third party providers on the preparation and management of member communications in relation to plan changes
2. Manage the process of communication, including consultation, individual meetings, review of feedback and adjustment of the proposition
3. Prepare final future UK benefit design for business sign-off
4. To work with Thomsons as benefits portal provider to co-ordinate the new benefits structure and portal roll-out
5. To work with the global Benefits Transformation project management to ensure timely delivery
6. To support liaison with the Trustees over plan changes
Qualifications and Skills
Experience of best practice within major multinational groups.
The ability and experience to win the confidence of senior management in London and throughout the world.
Communication skills to articulate complex issues simply and comprehensibly.
The ability to develop and maintain personal relationships with staff of all nationalities through the Group.
The ability to work independently; identifying and prioritising key issues then managing them through to a conclusion.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
