Description

Harvey Nash's client a public sector body is seeking an experienced finance professional for a 3 month contract.

You will be expected to provide a wide range of financial duties; which include:

* Preparation and submission of returns and internal reconciliations in accordance to deadlines
* Assist in preparation of year end annual accounts
* Engage with external auditors
* Maintain and development of new fixed asset management system
* Preparation and analysis of management accounting information
* Stakeholder engagement
* Cash flow forecasting
*Preparation of monthly debtor report for senior management

Qualifications/Experience required:

* Qualified Accountant
* Knowledge of standard accounting practices
* Previous management accounting experience in large scale organisations, including month end accounting
* Previous experience of year end accounting
* Update knowledge of VAT legislation
* Credit control experience
* Previous experience of management of payment of invoices
* Budget management experience
* Excellent MS Office, including Office and Excel experience
