User Researcher x 2Sheffield / London - Public Sector, outside IR35, 2 year programme
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced User Researchers / User Experience Researches to join a multidisciplinary team creating world-class digital services. You'll be conducting Service Discovery to identify and deliver high-quality, user-centred products. Please note this role will be based at least 2/3 days in Sheffield, plus some travel time and time in London.
Key skills and experience for the User Researcher
*5+ years conducting user experience research
*In-depth understanding of user-centred design principles and tools
*Demonstrable 3+ years' experience planning and building digital products.
*Experience leading (defining scope, approach and carrying out delivery of) end to end service transformation work, using user-centred, agile approaches
*Demonstrable 3+ years' experience in working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams (with Design, Software, Content and Product team members)
*Proven experience of stakeholder management; Strong negotiation skills to ensure that design thinking is intrinsic to delivery, but also taking a pragmatic approach to design where needed
*Previous experience in a government environment would be beneficial, as would a broad understanding of visual design, interaction design, content design and service design
