Stat Reporting Architect
Our Banking client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Stat Reporting Architect to join their Edinburgh based team for 6 months initial contract.
The successful candidate will have previous banking experience as well as the following skills:
- This role is for a Solution Design Architect supporting the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Statutory Reporting business areas (Financial Control and Chief Accountants)
- The Lead Architect will, working together with the overarching Finance Design Architect, own the end-to-end solution design for the Statutory Reporting suite of applications, translating requirements into a series of transition state designs and an executable roadmap(s) setting out how initiatives across the platform will realise the Bank's vision.
- The Architect will be responsible for developing and optimising chosen solutions to meet the strategic needs of projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with the bank's strategic roadmap and ensuring customer outcomes are delivered in acceptable timeframes.
- Works closely and aligns with multiple stakeholders and other Finance domain architects
Skills and Experience required
- Prior experience of Solution Design and Architecture for Hyperion and Oracle EPM products including Cloud products such as FCCS and EPRCS
- A strong communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management level colleagues, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in designing and delivering solutions on large scale platforms within a Financial Reporting business area
- Experience of Knowledge of technical domain (technology operating model, applications, interfaces, services, data, platforms, Middleware, deployment patterns, security and risk, Legacy & industry-leading technologies, application tooling, databases, platforms, networks and systems management tooling)
- Awareness and understanding of business domain with an understanding of wider bank businesses (eg customer, channel, product, processes/services, resources, locations, application dependencies, supply chain, risk and regulatory landscape, costs)
